Ugh, head colds are totally not-on. Running around trying to finish up a project by this Sunday in between having an office job then finishing some new arts for open studios next month.

Wait, I totally had a point - life is crazyhorse but I've been checking in here on and off; and when I finish this crap I shall come and comment on art and respond to comments because it all makes me smile and makes the day just that much brighter~

Hulloo fellow fans! As part of my quest to pretend like I’m an adult, my place is undergoing some severe purging and redecorating. And so I started to make a separate section for manga I either have doubles of, or am no longer interested in having hard copies of.

I cannot in good conscious simply toss them into recycling, and so they’re all going out there as freebies to anyone offering them a good home!

Something about DA makes one think that they can go a few days without dealing with the inbox and tricks you into thinking it's not nearly as much as it actually is. Well, no time like the present to work on clearing this out (and so, apologies to people who get comments several hundred thousand days late).

Did I mention I quit my job? I did and it felt good, because he was trying to tactfully fire me at the time. The letter I slapped in the table with a cheshire grin was short, mocking and sarcastic and I don't care, because I knew everyone was planning to quit within a month and it was all his fault for being a bad manager.

OH! I just found out yesterday that someone I despise is losing his job and his car is broken beyond repair and I laughed and laughed and laughed, and then baked a cake to celebrate. It felt damn good, because it's about time Karma snuck up and gave him a surprise ball-wrenching *snrk*

22 is not all it's cracked up to be and...wait, is it cracked up to be anything at all? No? Oh, okay, nevermind.

Great news! The school likes me so much that they called and offered a small job for a weekend, overseeing some other students do their work. "It's twenty bucks an hour, a do-nothing job, sweet deal," they said. And so, I accepted. Sitting perfectly still in a task chair. And silent. From 7:30am to 5:30pm. For two days. Needless to say, I had to work extra hard to stay entertained so I didn't lose my mind and wire the entire fucking building with explosives. I'm sure that what I'm about to say will shock and alarm you, so I hope you're sitting down: TEST PROCTORING IS FUCKING BORING! I know. I was just as dumbfounded as you are. Feel free to take a minute to catch your breath.

It was like I was in hell. And hell was sponsored by the NCIDQ.
I know that if it weren't for Ali sitting next to me, an endless supply of sudoku puzzles, and a ream of white paper and a pen, I would have taken a bathroom break to run outside and decapitate a child. I suppose what I'm getting at is: what are your favorite pastimes in moments of unbearable boredom?

My top 5 include:
+ Looking up absolutely everyone I know (and everyone I don't) in the National Sex Offender Registry
+ Diagnosing myself through WebMD. I discovered I have pinkeye, spinal menengitis, Temporomandibular Joint Syndrome (TMJ), epilepsy, gout, fibromyalgia, folliculitis, type 2 diabetes, and a sunburn
+ Imagine what it would be like to be covered in honey and thrown into a sea of gorgeous Irish men to be devoured like an unfortunate - wait...sorry...
+ Making friends with all inanimate objects in the immediate vicinity. Make sure to give them names, distinct personalities and an interesting family history
+ When you just can't stand it anymore and decide your co-workers have a scant 24 hours to live, consult CrimeLibrary.com to make sure you can get away with it
