The Hime and the Dog Prince

FINALLY. I can't work on this anymore, so up it goes! For *Resmiranda's House of the Moon tale The Hime and the Dog Prince. And now I get to rant about it.

I sketched it really rough on crappy paper, transferred the clean lines to a new sheet, then transfered THAT to bristol to ink. You know what took me the longest on this whole thing? Not the drawing, not the coloring, but that god damn border, and you don't even get to see why. I did this fabulous, intricate white text border with interlocking shape and letterforms and when I inked it in realized it just didn't work. OH THE HORROR!! So I was forced to color over it to be solid. *weep*
The scan ate everything and I'm sorry. Plus the line in the middle can't be fully taken away...I had to scan it in two parts because of its size (11x14) and piecing it together just wouldn't work. Anyways, am pleased yet sleepy.
